"Recorded between May 2020 and September 2021, 'Hiremi Never You' showcases a more mature approach at songwriting and production by Norf, moving forward with some of the ideas originally sketched out in the previous album, Laika.

The EP starts off with 'Not Healing', premiered originally on Tom Ravenscroft's BBC Radio 6 show in June 2021, and moves from ambient motifs to trap, breakbeat and techno: trademark cut-up distorted vocals are still present, sitting comfortably in between synth lines that allow them to breathe much more. Add expertly constructed drum work and atmospheric synths to that, and you should get an idea of how 'Hiremi Never You' sounds."
